I researched and developed active missing persons cases, conducting initial outreach to families, friends, police departments, the FBI, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and legal experts. I served as lead producer on two cases, carrying each from development through field production, writing, and post. I led field teams, conducted sensitive interviews, wrote both stories, managed archival material, and delivered the work on tight deadlines.

For the featured story, I worked with the family of Dane Elkins to tell the story of his disappearance with care, accuracy, and urgency.
